Introduction

Tony Talks Travel respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Tony Talks Travel is operated by Antony Pagan and is affiliated with Fora as the host travel agency.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you fill out a trip request form, subscribe to our newsletter, download a guide, send us a message, or book travel through us. This includes your name, email address, phone number, travel preferences, travel dates, traveler details, and any additional information you share to help us plan your trip.

We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit our site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referral source. We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to plan and book travel, respond to your inquiries, send you trip-related communications, deliver newsletters and travel content you opted into, share occasional promotions or guides, and improve our website and services.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to operate our services. This includes Fora as our host agency for booking purposes, travel suppliers such as hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and transportation providers required to fulfill your trip, our email service provider (see the Brevo section below), and analytics and website tools that help us understand site usage.

We do not sell your personal information.

Affiliate Links and Disclosures

Tony Talks Travel may include affiliate links to travel products, gear, insurance providers, or other services. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products and services we believe in.

Email Communications

Tony Talks Travel sends two clearly separate types of email:

  • Service communications. When you submit a trip request, we send a confirmation to the email address you provided and an internal notification to Tony so he can respond. These are transactional messages tied to the service you requested, and they are sent whether or not you have opted into marketing.
  • Optional marketing. Marketing emails — travel tips, planning resources, destination inspiration, and occasional offers — are only sent if you explicitly check the marketing consent box, and only after you confirm your subscription by clicking the link in a follow-up confirmation email. Marketing consent is optional, is never a condition of submitting a trip request, and can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.

Brevo (Email Service Provider)

We use Brevo (operated by Sendinblue SAS) to send trip-request confirmations, internal notifications to Tony, and any optional marketing emails you have consented to. Brevo processes personal information on our behalf to deliver these emails.

For trip-request submissions, Brevo may process the complete internal notification, including your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, destination and budget preferences, travel dates, party details, dietary or allergy information, accessibility needs, special occasions, and any other trip-planning details you shared in the form. This processing is performed solely to respond to the personalized travel-planning service you requested from Tony Talks Travel.

If you opt into marketing, Brevo also stores your marketing consent status, the timestamp of that consent, and a small set of contact attributes (such as first name, destination interest, and trip type) used to personalize the emails. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email, and this will not affect service communications tied to a trip you have already requested.

When you request one of our free guides (for example the Ultimate Travel Planning Checklist or Cruise Packing Essentials) by email, we collect only your first name and email address and pass them to Brevo so the guide can be delivered to you. We also record which guide you requested and when. Those guide-request details are kept separate from trip-request records. Adding yourself to Tony's ongoing travel emails from a guide form is entirely optional: the checkbox is unchecked by default, the guide is sent either way, and if you do opt in we record the consent timestamp and the page the consent came from, then ask you to confirm by email before any marketing is sent.

If you purchase a digital product such as The Stress-Free Trip Planner Kit, Brevo also stores your email address together with a small set of purchase attributes: which product you bought, the Payhip transaction reference, the purchase date, the amount and currency, the order status, whether a discount code was used, and up to three marketing attribution values (source, medium and campaign). These attributes exist so we can recognize customers and avoid sending you offers for something you already own. Purchase records never include your payment card details, because we never receive them.

Brevo's own privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy, which you can review here: https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/.

Payhip (Digital Product Sales)

Our digital products, including The Stress-Free Trip Planner Kit, are sold and delivered through Payhip. When you buy a digital product, you complete checkout on Payhip's own pages, not on this website. Secure checkout and digital delivery are provided through Payhip. Payments are processed using the payment methods available at checkout. Any applicable taxes are calculated and displayed during checkout. Refund eligibility is governed by the Tony Talks Travel Refund Policy and applicable law.

We never see or store your full payment card number, security code, or bank details. Those details are handled directly by Payhip and the payment providers available at checkout.

After a completed purchase, Payhip notifies us of the order so we can maintain our own sales records. That notification gives us your email address, the product purchased, the Payhip transaction reference, the purchase date, the amount and currency paid, whether a discount code was used, the order or refund status, and any marketing attribution values that were attached to your checkout link. We store those details in our own records and reflect them in Brevo as described above. We do not store your payment credentials, your billing address, or the contents of Payhip's own checkout questions.

Payhip's checkout includes an optional marketing email opt-in that is separate from your purchase. If you decline it, you still receive your receipt and download link, and we do not add you to marketing emails. If you accept it, we record that consent and the fact it came from the Payhip checkout, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any marketing email.

If you arrive at checkout from one of our links, we may pass up to three attribution values (marketing source, medium and campaign) along with the checkout link so we can understand which content led to a sale. These values contain no personal information about you.

Payhip's privacy practices are governed by their own policy, which you can review here: https://payhip.com/privacy.
